TP-Link has launched a new smart air quality sensor at CES 2023 in Las Vegas: the Tapo T315 Smart Sensor. With this device, users can monitor the temperature and humidity in the home and take automatic action.
Tapo T315 Smart Sensor
The new Tapo T315 is a smart temperature and humidity monitor. This smart home sensor provides real-time information about the current temperature in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. The humidity is displayed in percentages.
The smart sensor is equipped with a 2.7 inch display, which is easy to read. In addition to the temperature and humidity, the display also shows the battery life and the air quality in facial expressions. This way you can see at a glance how the air quality is going indoors.
Smart home capabilities
The Tapo T315 can work together with other Tapo smart home products. This can be very useful: for example, you can have the radiator switch off automatically when it is warm enough in the house. Or let an air purifier in the bedroom start humidifying the air when the humidity rises above 50%.
To use these smart home options, the Tapo Hub is necessary. This allows you to connect the devices with each other and realize smart home scenarios.
Price and availability
When the Tapo T315 Smart Sensor will be available for purchase has not yet been announced. TP-Link has also not yet shared prices for this smart home sensor. Most likely the release date of the product will be soon.
